Default how to check faulty turbo

Hie all recently i got one turbo from someone and after checking the fins and all .there are no wobble and things which at first i thought was good.....but today after pouring some oil through the oil section of the bearing.i notice that after 3 hours there is some oil coming out from the exhaust side and a bit on the intake side......is it suppose to be like this or is it faulty..what do i need to change...thanks a lot

odd, I have never tried that with a turbo, It may be ok, but I am not sure. Just because the same result will happen if you had a brand new turbo with a bad flowing oil return, to much oil would stay in the housing, and come out the exhaust side. Oil flows in and out quickly.
