horse power level

I got a 14b turbo on 97 civic. How much boostcan this turbo put out before it starts pushing hot air?

more than your stock internals can take...on dsm's i think they are good to about 18-19

Re:horse power level

That should be enough. The motor is not stock anymore. It has JE/SRP pistons(lower compression), eagle H-beam rods, All new rod and main bearings,

At 18-19psi on a dsm its way past the efficiency range.. 200-220 whp is probably where its efficient..

Re:horse power level

18-19 psi on a DSM represents a certain cfm. Given typical intake restriction through a Honduh head, the 14b's max cfm capability would be maxed out way before 18-19 psi.

Please don't compare apples to the chinese national debt. Thanks. ;)

I think that is possible. I just got back from the dyno, the turbo looked like it gave up at 5000 rpm, you can hear popping noises coming from the exhauust.. I thinking about going with a 16G.
