Horrible Lag

I have a t25, HF manifold, and a custom adaptor plate, im not spooling up til around 5K, i just port matched my adaptor plate, didnt help, i dont think i have and leaks in my charge pipes, or exhaust, i did bend the wastegate bar to run less boost, but i bent it back, its stumped me, and anyone with any ideas on why i would be getting such bad lag please clue me in, oh this is on a mini me swap.

Re:Horrible Lag

It's either a leak or a wastegate actuator problem. A t25 should be fully spooled by like 3k. Check everything again!

Good luck!

Re:Horrible Lag

your actuator must be screwed up...bending it would raise the boost more anyway

im going to go everythign today and see whats wrong with this damn thing, should the wastegate sit tightley shut like in a seat or does it sit loose?

Re:Horrible Lag

Should keep the flapper nice and tight, otherwise the exhaust will just leak and by and bingo=lost o lag.

Re:Horrible Lag

even if it sits tight it could still be messed up and not have a lot of tension/holding power, but yea if it doesnt sit flush you will get lag

Re:Horrible Lag

I'm going to venture a guess and say that pressure is leaking out the wastegate vent valve. Either that or you have pressure leaking out the interface where the manifold mates with either your cylinder head or turbo.

i have a t-25 and dsm o2 housing with a big ass leak in it, so big i can see light from the other side if i look at it from the right angle and mine is still spooled to about 8-10 psi at around 3.5k.
