hooking up the oil sensor?

i just got my new turbo and was wondering if anyone can give me details on how to hook up the oil sensor and where exactly do the lines go. what parts i need and is it really difficult w/ basic tools?

the way i'm setting mine up is with a T fitting. which can be found here http://www.turbo-performance.com/Pro...l-linekits.htm. basically just branching off from where the sensor is.

No need to remove the oil pan. You can buy a fitting from Tunertoys. https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...;threadid=6138

BTW I am the guy you bought the parts from on Honda-Tech(Oil pan, main relay). Looks like it should be there tommorrow. :)

thanks for the quick shipping. i am having the hardest time taking out the oil pan because of 1 or 2 bolts thats way up in the corner, any tips?

The ones near the end? I don't see why you would have a problem. Jack the car up as high as you can get it and see if you can get in there. Mine was pretty wide open, but my exhaust wasn't in the way.

if your under the car its in the to right corner a ratchet wont fit in there, uness im doing the wrong bolts but im pretty sure its the right one. i might just have to drill my oil pan while its still installed.

I wouldn't suggest doing that. Metal shavings will go everywhere inside the pan and metal shavings are not nice to internals.

All of the bolts are 10mm and are all around the oil pan. I'll take some pics tommorrow if you still can't get it.

take off the engine stablizers and the dust shield for the stupid flywheel... for my engine that's what i have to do or else can't open the pan..

pan is fun and easy, JUST DON'T USE THE WRONG GASKET MAKER SILICONE ----...............

i used the permatex #2 which is some ---- that doesn't harden.. WRONG, BIG MISTAKE.. goo everywhere.. took 3 hours to clean it up...

went and bought the permatex RTV copper sealant.. works great! no leaks

AND I GOT NO AXLE TRANS LEAKS!!! yeah!!

it must leak when you install the axles at first and then they seal.. that's my theory.
