tranny cooler, WTF?

OK, 88-91 Civic trannys have a weak diff pin.........it will explode sooner or later.........

If you have a ZC tranny, your ---- outta luck if you want a LSD and keep equal length axles.

Si axles and OBX or Quaife.

i have suffered from diff pin fuckup in my day but only on dx trannies, all my si ones have held . if you want to make it indestructable then weld ----.... weld a bead around the end of the diff pin to the plain half/carrier on both ends. only problem you cant take it back apart unless you really try very hard but who gives a ----. the only failure i ever see with the diff is the pin shoots out through the side of the case.

the clutch *should go before the tranny. they are designed for wear so your expensive trannys dont break, only the cheap clutches do.

i once hit second gear so hard with sticky drag radials in my crx that second gear got 80% raked off all the way around. the clutch that did this was an xtd clutch i bought from ebay for $179 it gripped very hard for 2 years untill i sold the car. point is strong clutch sticky tires and shifting hard like i do creates (shockload) i see this all the time rebuilding fuller transmissions out of semi trucks, the tires on semi trucks do not spin... d series tranny plus good clutch and slicks equals bad news if you like to hit gears hard.

I was wondering whatta hell... oilcooler for my manual transmission....

seem that i´ll just have to be carefull not to hit gears to hard... if its possible

i´m not planning to run on slicks so there might be a saver....
