honda f22b1 want boost... help me
 
i need a little help with you guys that have experince here in boosing hondas... i have a 97 accord lx with a f22b1 i belive from a accord ex its a 2.2 sohc vtec... i want boost... what should i looking onto on every aspect for installing a turbo i want a list if anyone could help me as far as i know the internals are stock but i have venom chip, fuel rail, headers, and short ram intake... im mostly confused on what to do fuel and computer wise and how much boost can i hadle safley ... thanks

convert to obd1, run a p06 chip it using uber/crome, injectors, and peicing together a turbo kit. your intake, venom chip, and headers (wow do you have a v6 to have headers) are all useless. you might be able to use the filter and thats about it. i believe f22's have iron sleeves or something like that. i dont ------- know. 10 psi safely. probably more again i dont ------- know. wait for the specialists to get in this

yep iron sleeves and stock low 8.8:1 CR.

safely run 8psi with no problems, 10 will wear it down a bit more, run 12 only if you are trying to blow it

i have a 97 accord lx with the f22b2. theres a laundry list of stuff, you just have to read up, hit up the faq's and use the search function, it works great on this site.

thanks you guys are great here on this site... ill get some pics later... my car is slow now but im hoping some boost will help ..... and no BoostedZSix i dont have a v-6 lol sorry for the typo...
