Honda City
Hi all,
this is first post here on the forum. a little background info. i am from india and drive a car called the honda city. it is a 1.5l non-vtec and has 100 bhp stock. this is the 2000 model car and the new car nows comes with just 77bhp - www.hondacarindia.com/city/
the engine type on my car is b19b2. recently on one of my visits to malayasia i bought a turbo off a mitshibushi car - dont know the make and model but the guys who sold it to me mentioned that they were using the same for the honda city's there in malaysia.
well, came home did some homework (thats when i found HMT) did the plumbing, installed a HKS blowoff and another intercooler from another indian vehicle. looks like everything is fine and then the dreaded "check engine" light. did a lot more homework and finally found that "map sensor controller" from jackson racing should do the trick.
ordered, waited (agonizing) and then it finally comes. install it but the instructions say that i have to disconnect the "fuel enrichment" relay which i could not locate on my car. also, the instructions mention a original "boost pressure switch".
can anybody help me sort this out? thanks in advance.

Re: Honda City
Looks like a cool project, unfortunately I'm have not seen that jackson racing thing, so i can't help you much. It seems your car's map sensor is detecting the positive pressure and it's setting up the CEL.
What are you using again for management?
Depending on what it is comes the solution to it. Something like the AFC hack needs the signal from the map sensor to be correct, and will "fool" the factory sensor to work fine.
An FMU will require you to put some check valves going to your map sensor to blow off the pressure before it gets to the sensor.
Either way I would like to see some pictures of this engine and the car. I like honda, and like a lot of the models they have outside the USA and we don't get here.
Another thing, you might want to post in the Forced Induction forums for more help on this issue, this might be moved by a moderator to the right forum.
