you need a quality water pump for this application, trust me you dont want it to go out when you need it. I looked into this for a while and if you checkout most DSm'er sites youll find the most usefull info. The price will run you close to $300 for a quality homemade system, which is very exspensive an Aquamist which is the best on the market only runs you $450 new. Just buy a slightly used one on ebay for around $200 with a just with a low water warning mec. in it. Thats what i did and it works great!

dude... get a pressure sensor and a sprayer thats all u need. wire the pressure sensor to your WINDSHIELD wiper PUMP , u can use that for the tank- then jjust run the hoses... and ur done.
I inject methanol, but i guess water works too-

Re:homemade water injection ????

yeah, you could do that but i wouldnt inject that into my engine, where the atonization of the water?, exactly! there was none :o like they say do it right the first time. yes the winshield washer pump way is almost free but not that reliable. its good for running a radiator or intercooler sprayer, but thats on the outside. Trust me find someone with an aquamist system and hold the pump in your hand and the nozzles examin the holes and the spray patern(kit comes with 3 diffrent sizes for your applications of choice), oh did i mention the aquamist has the best of both on the market. and compare that to an oem washer pump and some garden hose sprayers, then youll realize first hand which one you want pumping anything into you intake going into your babies heart. $200 for the best or around $50 for well it tell its own story ;)

Chacko used an idustrial water pump plus nozzles from aquamist and made a nice ass water injection kit for 180. plus this website is HOMEMADETURBO. Any body could go buy a kit but this site is about people who like to do it themselves. Knowledge is Power.

Re:homemade water injection ????

ure knowladge is power if you can apply it, or even obsorb it. ( no insult intended) im just saying if a homemade kit runs that mush, why cut corners if its only saving you $20 and you still used some of the components i talked about. yeah this site is all DIY but this isnt a turbo kit, where you can piece it together for under$500 and have a beast, then there your saving money and gaining this knowledge, i would say most people would gain great know how though the installations parts we've aquired. hey do what your think is good, but we all gave you great choices. 8)

Jesus ------- Christ here:

http://www.turbomirage.com/water3.html and these prices are higher than what you can get them for if you go to NAPA for all the fittings

This topic has been discussed very in depth, look in the FAQ.
