Homemade turbo success (preclipse) pictures

I got my turbo project done finally, well I still want to build on it and tune it alot better because im running rich right now. My friend is going to help out with a Greddy e-manage system as soon as I get it. The motivation I got from this was all the research I did on this website, thanks for anyone who helped out or did this project to guide me. Heres the setup:

2.2L F22a1 SOHC non-vtec
TD04 Mitshu Turbo (ported and polished exhaust inlet)
2nd gen DSM exhaust manifold (redrilled, ported and polished inlet and outlet)
1st gen DSM blow-off valve
Adjustable Wastegate Arm (set at 5-6 pounds)
Function 7 oil outlet adapter
Earls plumbing fittings
Stainless Steel oil lines
Coolant lines for turbo tapped into TB
Mishimoto FMIC (28.25x7.5x2.5) (core= 20.5x6.25x2,25)
OBX FMU (12:1 ratio)
B&M Fuel Pressure Regulator
BLOX Map Sensor Bypass check valve Type B EF DA
3" HKS style filter (blue)
2.5 inch exhaust w/hi flo cat, OBX muffler
Exedy Stage 1 clutch
Removed full AC system, Wiper motor, and Wiper reserve
Custom Carbon Fiber covers
Spoon Reserve covers
OBX front strut and lower rear bar
JDM Kanji "Boost is Better" sticker

(You can view these in a bigger size at the cardomain site link on my posts)

I have already made new charge piping to the intercooler but in the future I need to weld some of it to get rid of all my boots I have. I also want to put in a td05 in place of the td04 i have now, anyone else suggest that? If I do does the oil inlet and outlet have the same fitting sizes. Well the oil return I have a function 7 oil fitting so im not sure if the bolt patterns were different sizes.

So how does it run? does it rip?

I know you just got it all together but I'm sure later on your definatly gonna wanna upgrade to a 14b. The 14b is alot more powerful and will feel alot better on that 2.2l. Everything will switch right over, oil feed/return etc... Overall looks really good.

at least a 14b, i saw a dyno of a local, that had his car tuned with uber, had a 14b on his f22 accord, it seemed like the turbo had no breath after 5300rpm, at 10psi, lost power, im not sure exactly if it was the turbo but it seems a little small for a 2.2l 8-8-1 cp moror dosent it. i would run like a t3 60 63 trim or a 16g to help alot. thats just my opinion

ur elbow off the turbo is gonna melt in like 2 hours, all those home depot couplers will expand n pop off cuz when warm they allow to expand and become mooshy... other then that awesome install..

I dealt with that already. I welded an extension off the compressor of about 6 inches so its not coming off anymore, but it does get hot. unfortunately, I have the 13g i think, another name for the td04, I have a friend that has a td05 so im going to buy that and see the difference cause I do get full boost around 4.5 grand and I always shift early cause the power seems to stay the same over 5000 rpm's. The little thing pulls hard though considering I only have about 6-7 pounds of boost but I do get some delay in transition to boost cause of it being so rich. I like the sound of the dsm bov to but Im most likely going to get a greddy type s.

dude td04 is small as ---- haha. why do u get full spool at 4.5 with that pewny ass ----? on my LS with that baby ---- i had full boost by like 2k. u must have a leak or something somewhere. get the thing tuned with a larger turbo, your car will love u
