My buddy wants to turbo his 2000 toyota celica gts, but we dont want to buy a kit we would like to piece it together. Does any body on here make turbo manifolds for this car? How about any inputs on a set up, IE turbo injectors engine management> Thanks in advance Jordan

2000 celica won't be a turbo friendly car. I'm not sayig it's impossible, just you gotta deal with lots of ---- to get it done. ie plastic intake manifold, I believe the exhaust is on the firewall side too, making working in there harded. ect...

Other than the plastic I/M, there is no reason you shouldn't turbo charge the car. Do a bit of research then come back to us when you've done it.

I remember Harry at phoenix ms doing a semi-custom supercharger setup on a gts using the e-manage, something about the early cars having different wiring and he had to re-wire some ----. He did get it running and as far as i know its daily driven for about 6 months.

Boost the ---- out of it and let us know how it goes. :P

the 2zzge doesnt have a plastic intake (i.e. celica gts). the 1zzfe in the current gen corollas and celicas has the plastic intake.
