homemade oil restrictor
 

So i didnt feel like ordering a new oil restrictor and waiting for it.....so i figured out a different way.
What i did first was take the oil fitting off of my turbo and put it in a vice. I then took a 10-32 tap and
taped out the JIC side of the fitting (only go and 1/2 - 5/8 of the way through). I used the JIC side rather than the
pipe side is because it has a little smaller size hole and made better threads.
Once thats done clean it out. Then, take a brass 10-32 machine screw and use locktite threadlock
on the threads and screw it into the fitting you just tapped. Screw it in untill it gets tight making sure that you arent going to far (using a 90 deg. fitting) if using a straight fitting it doesnt matter. take a hack saw and cut if off flush. Make sure not to disturb the sealing surface. Take some sand paper and go over it so that its not extruding past sealing surface. Once done you should have a completely sealed fitting. then take very small drill bit (1/16 or smaller) and carefully drill through the brass screw in the center.
And there you have a more restricted oil fitting.....now thats home made ;)
