Im going to make a manifold for my turbo project soon, and i keep hearing certain things about the tubing to use and whats good and bad. All i wanna kno is if i can use regular mild steel tubing to make a decent equal length mani. If i have it braced good and everything will it last?

schedule 40 butt weld elbows and/or 2 elbows 2 T's are your best bet. I'm having one welded for me now using 4 elbows and 2 sections of straight pipe along with the necessary flanges. Take a look in the classifieds under the BMC post, the manifold will look exactly like that.

 

id like to stay away from a log style manifold.
