Holset HX35 on my skyline

hey guys im an american living in peru, i have a nissan skyline ecr33 gts25t, motor is completely stock, stock turbo (super t3 ceramic bb turbo), hks fmic full 3 inch exahust and a haltech E6X, i spent all my money on the haltech, and i want more power, my friend has an hx50 on his bmw 3.0, he told me the hx35 would be a good turbo for my car, my engine is a 2.5 24 valve and it has 9:1 compresion, im pretty sure id have to drop the compresion to run the hx35 at high psi, but i just want to know with a nice turbo header (123)-(456) using the twin scroll, what would i be spooling at, im kinda terrified of lag lol

Wow, converted to LHD. Floyd will hate you.

HX35 would be more than fine on that pig of an engine.

http://www.theturbotrader.com/produc...products_id=36 this will help the Hx spool up quicker with a smaller exhaust housing, you may beable to get it in stainless from the last I heard. I like the Holset H1C it's a lil smaller but kicks ass with you get full spool. On my H22A it starts to pick up boost at 3800 and hit full spool at 5100 with a 12cm housing.

those are usless and a waste of money. if he wanted faster spool he can go with a hy35 they have the 9^cm exhaust housing and will spool plenty fast. but i would go with a hx just becouse there little monsters.

Hate to sound like a ricer but I love skylines too. I'd kill a herd of ricers for a LHD one.

I had a bullseye housing holset on a 1.8l toyota and it spooled almost to fast.
The hx35 with a split 12cm housing on a 2.5 will spool plenty fast and keep it from choking up top.

thanks you guys are great really very helpful :D, today ill search for an hx35, i doubt ill find the hy here in peru cause peru is full of old cars but ill try either way, how do i put an external wastegate on twin scroll's? do i unite the 2 sets of cyl's with a small tuvbe then tie the wastegate to that?

If it's full of older cars look for a 12 valve dodge ram diesel early 90 models, it's got the H1c and the 12cm housing.
