I'm thinking about picking up a holset H1C for dirt cheap, and I was wondering if it there is a way to machine a T3 .63 A/R housing on since the H1C comes out to be around 1.13 A/R..

what do you guys think? maybe there's a way I could block off one of the divided ports

route your wg dump into the blocked off port

 

I have one on my lsvtec with the 18cm^2 housing and i have full spool at 5500.

 

Use a log mani, it will help spool time.

 

i'm already using a cast log manifold..

just by seeing it, does this seem like the 18cm^2 housing? it just seems so large to me..



oh well, I can easily make a plate to block off one side.. if it is a 18cm^2 or bigger, half would yield ~9 cm2 = 0.65 A/R, give or take a little.. am i right?

We did this with a couple b16a's block half does help for sure. Abaz did it on blue thunder the dohc zc build

 

BUy it sell it make a few bucks and buy a turbo that has a smaller ex housing.
