HMT'ing a QR25DE Altima

So, one of my friends likes the idea of the HMT on my civic and he's kinda infected with the boost bug. I'm trying to map out a HMT for his 02 Altima, and I have the manifold all figured out, and most of the other stuff, the only thing I need a little help on is the fuel. Its a returnless system so a FMU is out and there are no known ECU upgrades that I know of yet, especially any that would allow boost. So here is my conundrum, the QR block isn't all that strong and low boost is the only option here, but I need to figure out the fuel, any ideas, Jeff? I've tried lookin for a turbo SpecV, but I found little results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm thinking just bigger injectors with an EMS or E-manage. Any thoughts?

Ha, its funny you say that just yesterday I took out a QR25 of a altima because it gernaded. The QR25's are pieces of ----, Nissan has this huge recall to try and cover up their shitty oil burning 4 cylinder engine, but I think we are going to see more and more of these engines coming in with problems. This is my 3rd QR25 I've had to replace.

As far as turboing one?... I really dont know what you would do with fuel either, unless you got some type of piggy back controller and put some Fuel injectors on the upper IC pipe, (like what airtonics did) and just have them turn on when boost hits.

Use an Additional injector control unit....easiest way to do it. Lol...Nissan should have stayed with the good ol' SR20DE and leave those French engines to the french...I think they are also french bluid as the new 350Z engine is french and is used in Renaults if I'm not mistaken

Thanks Jeff and Sem. His Altima is actually at the dealership right now, and they are determining if they are gonna replace the engine or not, his CEL has been on for about 15k miles. I heard that because the cat is part of the exhaust mani that the cat falls apart and gets sucked into the engine via the exhaust valves. I know its a ---- engine, but if I can help another HMT to be born then it would all be worth it. Thanks.
