Hitting 13psi????
Ok.. well I had some issues tonight with my car. I was driving around and were having a cold front here. So I was in second and gave it some boost just enjoying the weather. And for once glanced at my boost gauge. Mofucker climbs over 10psi and settles at like 13 :o. Now my afc isnt calibrated right and sits past the 0 and the box so I never really payed attention to it. But 13psi seems a little far up there. Anyway.. Im like wtf and shut it down. Checked my AFC log and it said the pressure was .61bar (9 psi). I run 8 daily so I was like hrm. Took it again to pay more attention and at like 5800 rpm it started popping out the exhaust. So I shut her down took it home and checked everything. Everything seems alright. Dunno wtf is goin on lol. I'm tuned really really rich and with a pretty large ignition retard by a btm. So I cant understand why I was popping unless it was maybe from being real rich?.. Can anyone diagnose this?

youre probably running really rich and that popping noise is the unburned fuel combusting inside of your exhaust.

don't honda MAP sensors top out around 9 psi? or is that just OBD0 sensors?

neither... obd0 max is around 13psi.. But I believe your popping is from being rich as well.. or just your btm is retarded a bit much
