HF T3 and A/C ?
hello folks
is it possible to keep a/c with a hf manifold and a T3 ? com-.48 exh-.67 the DP is 5 bolt flange. i want the compressor in the passenger side. is that possible...? here is some pictures of the turbo: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/657283/10 best regards moshik galimidi |
Re:HF T3 and A/C ?
if you make some crazy adapter.. I haven't ever saw one that kept A/C with the HF manifold.

Re:HF T3 and A/C ?
It's possible but not really worth the headache. The adaptor plate has to place the turbo in a perfect position and you might need a slim fan.

just put down your windows ;)

Re:HF T3 and A/C ?
i dont want to make a crazy adapter because the turbo is very heavy as it is.
slim fan is not a problam... :) just put down your windows |

Re:HF T3 and A/C ?
i'm trying to save the money. yesterday i got an arc welder as a gift from my gf... maby i'l build a log manifold later on.... but for now i want to use the hf. i cant make a test fit because its my daily driver and it seems that i cant unbolt the stock manifold from the exh pipe with a spanner... tomorow i'l go to the shop to unbolt the nuts with an impact wrench. am i gonna need a new gasket for the stock manifold after the test fit? |
Re:HF T3 and A/C ?
there is some post on here of a guy that did it. He put the A/C fan on the outside of the condensor to make some more room....i think it was a different fan too. Pusher as opposed to puller, or the other way around. Also i think it was a smaller turbo. Maybe a t25.

Re:HF T3 and A/C ?
with the size t3 you are talking it'll be difficult. i made my td04L fit with a/c using an std/hf manifold. you will neet an adapterplate that rotates it to work and move your fan.
