HF oil drain.
How much can I clock my turbo.
You all know of the bitch to run a oil drain with a hf mani is. Plus my adapter plate is about an inch thick making it worse. The more I clock the oil drain on the turbo towards the pan the better it makes my angle for the drain line. How much can I clock it before my oil starts to backup ? I know people say to have the oil drain aim straight down. But thats not gonna happen. |
Re:HF oil drain.
Yes, the hf mani to adaptor plate drain lines are a bitch 110% of the time. I believe 30 degrees either way is what I remember hearing. You may also have luck clocking it so the drain points forward instead of back. Take a look at it and see if that would work better. Some times it does, and some times it don't.

Re:HF oil drain.
Mine seems to work pretty well. It's slightly clocked at an angle and the return line is damn near perfect. It's got a *slight* kink in it, but it seems to be working.
