Default HF manifold & t25. Oil return question

I started working on my oil return today. (Got stealthmode feed, return kit) The end of the barbed fitting is close to flush with the top of the oil pan. Not much room to make a nice curve with the return line without it kinking. Now, I could probably rig some way to make it work, but I'd rather not 'reinvent the wheel' if there is a tried-and-true solution. Im thinking of clocking the center section about 10 degrees towards the oil pan, maybe removing the last 2 barbs from the barbed fittings and trying it that way. Any input would be appreciated.

I had the same problem. To solve this problem, i estimated the distance it would take from the t25 to the oil pan by bending the hose, used a sharpie pen to mark an appropriate cutting section, and simply had it cut to where i marked it.
the oil's now running better...and yeah, my lines were from Stealthmode too.

so what you're saying is just make the return hose the perfect length so there is no extra?

what's your opinion of clocking the center section a few degrees and/or removing a barb or two from the fittings?

Thanks

I would clock the center section so you get a better angle. would a 45 degree pipe help out? some times you can just use a 45 degree pipe for the bend since the hose will kink.

yeah, cut it till it fit's nicely with no extras to prevent kinkage. And i did have to clock the center section (using a 13mm wrench) so that the oil feed was facing nearly straight up, and the oil return flange facing down.
