Re:HF manifold specs please help!!

well if its the gasket that goes from your adapter plate to your turbo why are you at the honda dealership??...
the gasket cant be for a "hf to a turbo".. that wont bolt up. you have to either weld a flange ( for your turbo) onto the HF mani... or use an adapter plate...

por ejemplo.. if your using a 14B... tell the parts place you need a gasket for the manifold to turbo on a 1991 eagle talon tsi..

or you could just gob some high temp sealer on there and maybe it wont burn off...

I think he means a gasket for the HF to the adapter ::).The turbo to adapter would be just a turbo gasket(wich ever your using).

Re:HF manifold specs please help!!

he should have a diagram (IDIOT Honda Employees!!!)... Tell him to find whatever model (DX,Standard,HF) came with the catyletic converter on the manifold, and get the gasket that mates the cat to the manifold... be sure you get the right one for the right year...Hf/std for Hf/std and cx/vx for cx/vx cus their different (don't ask how i found out)... I ended up making mines out of 2 pieces of sheet metal... Holds up good

Re:HF manifold specs please help!!

Mr smith you have replyed 5 times and haven't told him ----! We dont have autozones or parts for cars we dont have
in our market. Not all of Canada is Cold just like not all the US is hot. I live 15 minutes from Washington, you think it magically gets cold at the boarder? Honda is the only one that stocks this gasket, try not talking about ---- you dont know ---- all about but thanx anyways Fag! 94 I will post tonight for you!

Re:HF manifold specs please help!!

[Exhaust Pipe Gasket SPVQ: 1] Converter to manifold
Application: HONDA 4, 1.5l Eng. CRX 1500 HF, 1988-95

Fel-Pro fel 60789

that should be it..any auto parts place ( does canada have auto parts stores?) should be able to order it, and it would usually be cheaper at a parts store rather than a dealership..

cant help you on the oem honda # though

I had no problems with mine, went to carquest. told him what I wanted, he looked in the computer, saw nothing so went to a book, found it in seconds, WE have parts breakdowns in CANADA!! it was only 12.99 CAN dollars.

Oh ya CANADA KICKS ASS!!!!!!

Cold make it easier to keep the intercooler cold!!
(I know some of you americans have cold air too!)

Re:HF manifold specs please help!!

i seem to remember it was nice and mild up here in Toronto when it was snowing in vegas? ;D lol

either way.. I dont think we have a CRX HF, but we did have the std (known as CX for 88-91 civic's)

Slo_crx1 02-19-2004 03:11 PM

Re:HF manifold specs please help!!

Yeah, i think u guys chillin in Canada need the gasket for a CX model...no HF's up there.

Re:HF manifold specs please help!!

for those making ignorant comments about Canada, ask yourself this:

how many of the States are above canada? ::)

but yes, the CX manifold to catalytic converter gasket should be the same as the HF. you might even beable to get away without running a gasket there. just make sure both surfaces are clean.
