i drive a 92 civic lx with a/c...

i have seen the HF manifolds been used in a lot of the turbo setups...

can i use this as a turbo manifold and keep my a/c?

i dont think so.

 

thats simple...NO it wont fit, Jeff tried didnt work...make a custom manifold if you want to retain AC (but why?)...

 

Maybe with a RHb5 turbo.. and a small *** downpipe

 

yeah thats how I have my wagon, an rhb5 and 2 inch downpipe.

 

I'm on the process of using an rhb5 with an hf manifold, will try to fit it with a/c, if I can get it to fit, i'll try and take pictures of the process and how it sits on engine bay so I can either post them or send them to you by e-mail.

 

mine is turned around with the exhaust towards the a/c. its a little tight, but it works for me. I used rad hose for hte charge pipe from the turbo, and ran it down aroudn the trans mount and up to my intercooler. i have about a 2" downpipe. i'm going to redesign it soon and make it about a 2 1/2.

 

man, you need to take a pic aiming down from the engine bay so we can see how close it is



damn talk about an angle wtf is up with that adapter plate?

its a tight fit, thats for sure. but I have a heart problem so i have to have a/c. so I made it work. sorry I don't have a better pic. I just tried to take one but its dark outside, and after I got back in here with the camera, I realized the heatshield is in the way of seeing. I'll have to take it off and take a pic tomorrow. its cold and rainy out right now.
