HF Manifold and EGT?

Where would you tap the HF manifold for an EGT? Is it possible or should I tap the downpipe?

Don't know if this helps but I just picked up a downpipe from Exhaust Depot with a bung already in it for the EGT sensor so I guess it would be ok to tap your down pipe. As long as it's not cast it should be easier to work with then the manifold.

there is that hole where the runners meet on the hf mani, thats where my me and my friend put his egt probe in, you can tap the mani anywhere, most ppl do #3, but after turbo your gonna get some really low numbers, you will be able to tell big changes in temp though.

The HF manifold already has the spot for the o2 sensor tapped out, so if you're not running an o2 sensor there, then thats where I would stick my EGT probe.

Well im runnin an o2 sensor there. So no good there. I guess the o2 would work and I could just get some ideas of temps on my own when I see them spike up higher than normal.
