Re: hf manifold breaking point
HF manifold will work nicely. I have yet to see anybody boost it to the "breaking point"
Give it a nice port match to your head and you'll be set. HF mani makes me happy |
Re: hf manifold breaking point
hf or std manifold i thought the std was larger ports and runners?
|
Re: hf manifold breaking point
std I do believe has the larger ports.
I used an hf on 15psi, porting one is a pain in the ass, but whatever. hf ftw |
Re: hf manifold breaking point
i ran my vx manifold to 17psi daily with a 14b, then my wg actuator arm broke and the car saw 22 + psi and cracked a sleeve.
so now i'm going to port my manifold, rebuild my engine and go for it again. |
Re: hf manifold breaking point
thanks alot guys, appreciate the info. greatly :8

Re: hf manifold breaking point
you wont break it with <20 psi so go for it :D

Re: hf manifold breaking point
HF=High Flow. It'll work. :y Power goal?

Re: hf manifold breaking point
I'm taking a an electric die grinder and a carbide bur to mine to port it out nicely. We'll see how it goes :S
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/1Z356 is the bur I'm using. |
