HF manifold on a B serie engine
Hi, I think this had been discussed before but can't find nothing on the board with the search engine.
My question is would a HF manifold work on a Bserie engine with some shaving and porting (on the manifold).... As well, i am really concerned about the results of the HF on a B... would it be good enought for my little TD04HL from a DSM and running at 8PSI on that B18b or would it bee to restrictive to cause internal damage to my engine or turbo? Thanks |

Re:HF manifold on a B serie engine
Hi johnny.... I am so confused... I saw so many people using a SOCH greddy kit or wat ever else and make the manifold fit on a B serie... So how come the manifold aren't even close to match each-other?... Damn... I am almost sure someone had fitted a HF (BTW , I don't have a HF, but a 92 VX manifold) on Honda-tech...
Thanks |
Re:HF manifold on a B serie engine
Uhm, they're two different manifolds.
TOTALLY different flanges. not even worth the time to try to make it work even if you could... Make a custom one, or buy and aftermarket one. |
Re:HF manifold on a B serie engine
it will work i have done it if you dont think it will work
macth up a b and d sereis exasht gasket all u do is redrill the holes and port match the hf manifold.b and d sereis motors have the same port spacing i did not beleive until i did it larry hp imports |
Re:HF manifold on a B serie engine
Yup it works my friend had that setup years ago on his b16.

Re:HF manifold on a B serie engine
its not wourth the truble the hf manifold flows a bit on the low side for a zc i cant even imagine a b series. and the ports arent spaced the same the b16 is much bigger thats why it would require porting.
