i think that the only advantage that a log manifold has over an hf/std manifold is retaining a/c and maybe an external wastegate.
but weve seen a couple of external gates welded onto the hf/std manis.

ported, my bet whould be that an hf would flow better than a log

what are you using to weld on that mani? isnt it cast???

You can weld to cast with flux wire if that's all ya got, ---- I did it and couldn't complain a bit.

I'd think that an HF would outflow a log because of the gasses in the runners 2 and 4 on the log eventually fighting each other. A short tubular seems like it would outperform the HF.

All I have is a big ass lincoln arc welder, i'll see if I can find some rods that will work.
