HF Manifold + 14b Is A/C out of the question?
Would a 14b on an Hf manifold rule out keeping A/C? I just go the AC working on my wagon (1990 civic FWD) and am gonna be boosting it but I GOTTA keep the A/C working. I looked at some pics in another thread and it *looks* like it'd fit but I'm sure somebody here knows for sure.
Thanks! |

i dont know about a HF manifold but for my 14b turbo with a custom made manifol i might even have to take out my power stearing pump unless i can mount my waste gate some where else and turn the bell housing or if i can route the charge pipe some how around it

maybe if you made an adapter plate that twisted the postion of the turbo a lil bit but probably cheaper to buy a mani thats ac compatible off someone on here than do custom fab work inless you have the tools i had an rhb5 and hf mani and it didnt fit with ac

You can't use an HF with a typical adapter plate and retain A/C, but if you have a custom adapter that angles the turbo away from the A/C it can work. |
