Default HF Adapter Plate / Exhaust Gaskets

I currently have an adapter plate but have problems with exhaust leak/burning gaskets out between the manifold and plate. I believe it is due to the fact it uses cap screws instead of studs.. I plan on buying a new adapter plate to remedy this.. and i was curious if anyone who has used either the BMC or Weir racing plates had any probs with exhaust leaks.. im ready to remedy this problem for good. and ive been using OEM HF gaskets.

do either of the plates use studs instead of counter sunk screws?
