Default hey t3 42

hey some guy wants to sell me a t3 turbo 42 air and some other ---- it looks too small is it any good for a d16

48/42? i know csaddict uses one on his d and it puts down some good numbers. i think around 180 whp at like 10psi. im sure some guys who have them will tell you what they think...
i meen its gonna spool up quick, but wont have to much up top, depends on what goal your aiming for

on the intake side its said 42 so its the 48/42 u said and i want alittle bit of both words but it should be decent for about 130, but for quater its a decent turbo right

Prolly an old Saab or Volvo unit. They usually come in a 50 trim. Should be good for about 250 flywheel ponies.

Noel is right about my numbers and it is a 42/48. It spools up at 2800 and is full spool at 3200. I am heading back to the dyno next week.

Its a great size for moderate power and great street manners. It pulls to 7200 at 11 psi just fine. I'll post the new dyno when I get it.

To give you an idea what size it is.. its bigger than a t25, but smaller than a 14b.

Good turbo for a stock D15 or D16, just dont pay alot for it, because they are everywhere in junkyards.
