help with what rims to use with 22x8x13 slicks

what rim/wheel is good for a 22x8x13 MT? MT suggests 7in wide. how far can i push that?

what off set is needed to avoid rubbing inside? im thinking 30-25mm should cut it.

the car is a 90 honda civic shooting for 12's. DIY and home made are the key words that apply to the build. $600 wheels are out of the question.

you fit 8in wide tires on 5.5 rims?? haha killer... u got pics? any complaints? i need more info.

i wanted to mount 24.5x8x14's on a stock integra wheel but the tire shop (they are more HMT than i am) didnt think it was a good idea.... never asked about 13's tho...

gonna rock some Kumho V710's on 14in OEM 94+ integra alloys. keeping the ITR calipers ftw.
205/55R14. Hope they hook well.

i can pull a 2.1 60ft on street tires....

if i can pull a 1.8 60 ft ill be happy.

+1 on that. i've used the v710s the past two years autocrossing. unlike street tires they grip decent when warm. but stiff ass sidewalls ftl

let us know how you do, i've never actually tried running them at the drag strip

2.1 60 foot 13.314 @ 105.41

best was 2.1 60 ft on street tires 13.288 at 106.81

i think with a little more practice ill be under 2 seconds for the 60s
