Help w/ oil return
 

I am doing a homemade turbo kit on a 97 civic dx, it has the dx motor in it, I am using an HF manifold, adapter plate, and a t25 turbocharger. I am having a problem with the oil return line, the pipe for the return that comes off of the turbo is so close to the oil pan that if I try putting a hose there it will just kink up real bad, there is not even enough room to make a slope or anything.

I would like some advice from someone who has turboed a 96 and up dx before with this same turbo.

Also I am going to use a stock side mount IC off of a 91 talon Turbo, and I can't figure out where to put it or how to run the piping.

I'm using a t-25 on my crx and like you said, it sits really low so theres not much room to make a nice slope for the return line. My return line is more like a 90 deg. bend. I was concerned with it at first but it hasn't had any problems for the few weeks it's been on there.
If your really concerned you could try to find a fitting that comes out of the turbo drain at an angle that way it could be more at an angle. Good luck.

just buy a 90 degree angle.

I just installed my T25 in my d16z6 and its the same situation. I ended up getting a 90deg fuel line as a temp solution cause everything we tried kinked up. :(

I have a T25 i na d16z6 too, I have the stealthmode kit, and I ended up cutting like 4" off the kit so it was only about 6" long, it's a bit of a bend, but water could run through it fine, and also, look at the feed line to the turbo ...it's only 1/8" and the drain is 1/2" so you have a LITTLE room to bend.

If I had to do it again (which i just may) i would have to say spend the $$ and get SS lines with a 45deg fitting coming out of the turbo. I think that would be a good angle towards the pan.
Right now I have a barbed fitting coming off the turbo and one going into the pan. The barb just adds to the problem cause the turbo already sits low. The barb makes it even lower. :( I thought about cutting the turbo barb in half to see if that would help... havent tried it yet
