Help: Turbo - Startup/Idle

Ok so I installed my HMT finally... or well tried to but it seems to not be working.

Here is my problem.... first I went from 260cc injectors to 550cc. I turned on the car and it ran... all be it a little bit ricjh maybe (I used emanage to do injector correction).

Anyhow I start the turbo install and finish.

T3 48/60 oil water cooled.
The charge pipes go from the compressor to intercooler to throttle body with a bov

The turbo intake tube has a MAF sensor placed in it right after the filter.

the exhaust seems to leak a little and im unsure what it is yet.

Anyhow my problem is if I turn it on it stumbles and struggles and dies in a few seconds... If I give it gas it stumbles and dies faster... seems like its flooding... If I half cover the intake open with say duct tape it seems to run and not die although it still stumbles and I can sort of drive it back and forth a little on dry land with a good ammmount of revving...

What can be causing this... do I possibly have a leak?? I check all pipes and everything and couldnt find anything! I just need suggestions on what in the hell can be causing this! I wanted to get it tuned but I cant move it to get it anywhere??

And how come if I half cover the intake it works better?? Altho nnot very good!

uhm...

what engine are we talking about? and what settings do you have your "emanage" at? did you tune it or did you tune it to your old injectors and then decide to swith to the larger injectors? if so you are probably flooding your engine with your new injectors.

What engine management are you using?

If you didn'g get the fueling right, the larger injectors won't work - sounds like you might be too rich

ok its a corolla engine that uses a MAF sensor. I am using an emanage.

The injectors were switched before the turbo and then the emanage was used to compensate for the larger injectors. It ran fine with the new injectors. I then installed the turbo and now it idles liek crap and I cant rev....

If I half tape the turbo/ compressor intake it sort of runs and I can sort of move but it seems rich... could the turbo be restricting the airflow a LOT going into the engien to where I need to cut a large ammount of fuel from idle still?

Oh and Ive had the emanage for over a year installed and running correctly! It ran ok with the new injhectors... but can the turbo somehow be killing the airflow where I need to really cut back on fuel??

Re:Help: Turbo - Startup/Idle

Ok I somewhat solved it... I idle like crap though because BOV is open... im goign to try to clamp my low rpm voltages to account for that...

The problem was apparently that the MAF was facking the wrong way... the air is suppose to flow from left side of sensor to the right side... unfortunately I had the sensor turned upside down so it flowed right to left when the air was going ---> so it was reading inaccurately. It runs now a little rich cuz of new injectors but runs anyhow... thanks for all help given!
