help. turbo mini me or not..

ive been hearing about the dreadful turbocharged mini-me

i hear that they over heat and have high compression.
i relly need your opnion on this one guys.
cause i was thinking about buying a Zc off of my friend
i was pricing stuff for the mini me conversion.
head- 150.00
v-tec selonid/dizzy/ecu 100.00
install time and new rings, rod bearings, and other seals and stuff 250.00

OR should i get 2 Zc engines off of my friend for 700.00 that run and one good one and 1 for parts

Buy the zc's d15s cant take 10psi for long and a zc with a decent FI setup can run 12's on slicks.

i dont know about 12's but definately low 13's. ive done turbo minime before and its just a whiney -----. you reallly have to pay attention and listen for detonation all the time unless you can get it dyynoed but IMO thats way too much money to spend on a stock block sohc.

I personally think vtec is overrated. By the time it kicks in you'll have more then enough boost to compensate for the small hp gains (don't forget about the nice chunky torque gains that the vtec is not endowed with).

Your call dude, I would say ZC or just get a nice LS block.

ive made up my mind.. v-tec is pointless because then it opens up unbder boost you loose power cause the valves open more and its uselss;. Zc deff.. 100% torque!
