Hey guys, I just installed a Garrett t25 with an XSPOWER manifold on my d15 and I made sure all connections were tight and in their proper place and started the engine. Well I don't hear any noise that you would typically hear from a boosted car so I look in the engine bay with the car running and sure enough, the engine is running but the blades in the intake side of the turbo aren't spinning at all. Car is still running even though it sounds like it has an exhaust leak, but it doesn't seem like that would be enough to prevent the turbo from spinning at least a little. I am stumped right now, how is this possible?>

The blades only spin on your exhaust side untill VTACK kicks in yo :1

Did you try to rev it up and see if they spin then? A turbo that small should spin on idle though. Please tell me that isn't going on an H22

no, just a d series. I was thinking that it should spin at idle but i think it is a t25 t3 hybrid. I can't tell until I get someone else over here to help me. This is my first turbo install so I freak out easily I guess. I didn't know if there was a possibility that the turbo was locked up or something obstructing the path of it.

get a stick to press the throttle while you stare at the turbo. lol

or you can just rev it by hand on the tb.
