are these any good (i think its a tdo5-12)? i noticed when the flange is in the mounting position the oil drain tube isnt facing down, does this matter? also are these turbos upgradeable(i heard you can put a 14b, 16g...etc wheel in them). ???

Ummm....where is the drain facing? The drain is gravity fed and if it is at too much of an angle it won't drain well. :-\

You probably need to rotate it so the drain is pointing down more.

Here is a similar map for that turbo. Very small.

Are you sure it is the oil drain? It could be a water inlet/outlet too.

i think it's just clocked the wrong way. just clock it so that the return tube is facing down. i also noticed that the locking clamp on the turbine side is not present. ;)

slightly tap the turbine away from the center section with a hammer. be careful not to hit it too much or it might crack (cast iron). also be careful not to hit the turbine blades when the turbine casing is about to come off. then just rotate the turbine case to the proper angle and tap it back again. then place the clamp on. ;)
