My sister took the digital camera so it took awhile before i got it back. Well, here are the photos of the turbo. I took apart to see if that'll help....evidently it didn't.

This is a Turbonetics T3 turbo with the blue plate obviously. I rotated the side with the blue plate and now it would not spin. Before it spun freely without any forcing of the blades. I could lightly touch it and it'll spin. Now I have to really force it just so it'll spin. If anyone knows what's wrong with this, please give some imputs. Otherwise, i'll just end up selling it if I can.

i'll buy it lol... i need parts anyways.
if it doesn't spin freely with the compressor side off, then u most likely bent the rod. if it spins freely, put the housing back on and hand tighten it, then do one turn on all the nuts until its tight. my guess is that it is hitting the housing thus the reason not spinning unless u bent the rod.

Just me or does it look like there is no bolts holding th backing plate on? does the backing plate move?? up down, wiggle at all? Where are you located? maybe someone close could take a look at it, you chould ship it to me and I could see what i can do but that would be at your expense and if the shafts bent the you'd need to get a new one and have the turbo rebalanced, may be better to get a new turbo in that case

This ---- is brand new and one little rotation fucked it up.
