so I should just ignore the mileage?

also, I've gathered that the split pulse manifold actually helps spool time greatly. All the DSM guys stand by this, and I'm somewhat confused with this theory since the same amount of exhaust hits the wheel per rpm.

An HX35 will very likely not bolt up to your manifold. Well, it will bolt up to your manifold, but likely only when it's been removed from the vehicle. Also, price vs mileage isn't so hot. Holsets have good sized shafts meaning they take miles (and rebuilds) well, but it's still a lot of miles. They are a bigger turbo and the extra length on the package fucks you as much as the 2" larger-than-T04E compressor does.

For a streetcar a big 16G works pretty well. Hitchhikkr was eating T3/T04E equipped cars making 125 whp more than he was just because his car made 10 psi at 1000 rpms and flat moved at any point in the rpm band. If you aren't going to fork out for DRs or go to the track on slicks, a big 16G might be perfect.

You can go either way and be happy, just make sure it fits on your car and make sure you aren't overpaying for worn out ----. Used turbos are slightly less shady than used pistons. :-\
