Default help me come up with a list

I've scrolled through the faqs and they helped a lot. However, I'm a bit confused on what part that I need. Say the budget is 2500-3000, and my goal is from low 13 daily. I'm looking for a good custom setup for the JDM H22A all stock internals. Also, I've heard that this is the place where I can get help to places that I can get part for the low low

Thanks everyone.

This is my list, but I know that I am missing a lot

T03/T04E Turbocharger $600
Tial 50mm Blow-Off Valve $220
RC 550cc Saturated $300
Tial 38mm Wastegate 0.5 Bar (7 psi) $230
Walbro 255lph-HP In-Tank $130
DRAG 2.5" Downpipe $200
DRAG Piping Kit $450
DRAG Polished Front Mount Intercooler $450
Hondata s200 $450
Stainless Steel Oil Feed and Return w/ Fittings $120
Bolts, Vacuum line, Fittings, etc. $100

That's about 3000 there

You can get most of those parts for alot cheaper is you are willing to give up the name brand, and if your not, you shouldn't be here at HMT. Just buy a kit if your going to spend $3000

you're list is pretty much complete, but how does this sound.

t3/t4 = 360 (from down to turbo)
greddy type s bov = 175
dsm 450cc injectors = 75
tial 38mm wategate = 230
fuel pump = 130
custom down pipe = 50 bucks
cca front mount intercoller = 300
hondata = 450
stealth mode oil line kit = 80
misc. (couplings, clamps, vacuum hose, oil pan gasket, etc.) = 100 max.
bmc racing manifold = 175 (i think)
charge piping = 70 max

you could still go a lot cheaper on a lot of things, but it looks like you want the good stuff. for starters, you could use the afc hack ($200) instead of hondata and save 250, you could run your internal wastegate (usually comes with turbo) on the turbo and save another 230, and you could use a 1g dsm bov ($50) and save 150 there. and you don't 'need' the fuel pump, so that's 130 less as well. at least to get you going and boosting, then you can upgrade to the more expensive things as you go, it's a lot easier than buying them all at once.

gran total = 1460

what teg said^

get theu stuff u NEED to boost, and u can always upgrade later, but if u have the 1600 or whatever to drop all at once, by all means do it.

Thanks a lot That list came out to about 2200 not 1460.

Also, i've found out that at johnnyracecar.com has the intercoolers for 240 shipped, should I go with that?

for starters, you could use the afc hack ($200) instead of hondata and save 250
Also, I'll look into going with afc hack instead of hondata since it shave off couple hundreds there. But when I take to a dyno shop to tune it, will they able to make the best out of it? And also will I able to control amount of boost, etc. But I don't want to go over 9lbs for a stock H22 though. I heard that it's not safe.

, and you could use a 1g dsm bov ($50) and save 150 there.
will the 1g DSM BOV handle just as well for a 13 sec car (I might rebuild the engine's internals later one so that it could make it into 12s)?

I really thank you for helping come up with these that'd help shave off more than a grand.

Could you please direct me to where could I get these stuff? I'm willing to do it all at once and I don't plan to make my car the race car, just reasonably fast enough. 12-13, may be 13 for starter

Thank you all again,

Thanks teg, as for the mandrel bend, I just need to get the angle parts at that site and have it welded to the straight pipe when I'm actually put those in?

As for the T03/t04e turbo, which one should I choose between Water cooled or oil cooled. What's the diff between the two?

Also, You mentioned about Vafc hack, What does hack mean? Like we have to manually hack into that unit after purchased it?

Also, do you know any other places that I can look for the 1g dsm bov, 450 cc injectors beside ebay?

and about those injectors, are those having honda clips or I have to get something else to get the fitment right?

Also, one last question, what's the the most update book that I can read about turbo application and engine rebuild, etc for the jdm H22a?

Thanks a lot, I really really mean it.

Corect. You need to do a little welding or have a shop do it. They shouldn't charge you too much

As for the T03/t04e turbo, which one should I choose between Water cooled or oil cooled. What's the diff between the two?I would rather have an oil cooled turbo because it's alot cleaner looking and I don't want a boiling *** turbo heating up my engine.

Also, You mentioned about Vafc hack, What does hack mean? Like we have to manually hack into that unit after purchased it?Read the "Engine Management FAQ". All of this is explained very clear there. The AFC along with the 450cc injectors is called "The hack". It is all wired/installed the same.

Also, do you know any other places that I can look for the 1g dsm bov, 450 cc injectors beside ebay?Check the classified section here. There are always injectors and BOV's for sale. You can get a Bosch one that works just as well.

and about those injectors, are those having honda clips or I have to get something else to get the fitment right?Depending on your car you might need to dremel a little tab inside the injector socket. It takes like 5 seconds. If you are OBD0 you don't need to worry about that or the resistor box.

Also, one last question, what's the the most update book that I can read about turbo application and engine rebuild, etc for the jdm H22a?Maximum boost

Thanks a lot, I really really mean it. Your welcome
