help installing T3 in my 95 Integra LS
I bought a Garret T3 setup off of Ebay, which included a turbo manifold and flex downpipe. I also recently purchased a front mount intercooler. I want to install this myself, but I need some sort of guide... where can I find instructions, like a diagram? What is a safe amount of boost for the Integra LS (non vtec) ? If anyone has anything useful, let me know! Thanks.
I dont know of any step by step places that show what exactly to do, but it really is pretty easy man.
first remove your exhaust manifold, Mock your turbo setup on, and make a mark on your oil pan where you want your oil return. Then take everything off, drop the pan and weld in a fitting. Re-install the turbo/manifold setup and you can start hooking things up. I.E oil lines/coolant lines etc. You can also start running your charge pipe/intercooler. This may take a while, especially if its custom. I dont know what came with your kit, and how fancy you want to get with it. But alot of people use mandrel bent piping for charge pipe work. Downpipe, if you dont know how to weld, or know anyone with a welder, you will have to take it to an exhaust shop/custom fabrication to get a downpipe made.
A T-3 should work on your motor, depending on size.. some of the t-3's can be a bit small, but thats ok, especially since its a B18 and you wont be reving to the sky like a b16a. Depending on management you can go from 4-11psi..
