help with ID. on this turbo

I just picked up a nice turbo off a guy and i'm looking for a little info, from you guys, about the specs of this turbo. It's a Garrett AiResearch t3/t4 with a a/r.60 compressor and .82 exhaust. What kind of numbers can I expect from this turbo on a LS motor? Spool time? Anyone on here rockin one of these? Here's pics:










That casting number, 408315-3, isn't coming up as anything.
You're going to have to measure inducer/exducer of the compressor. Also, the turbine wheel looks diesel as hell. She might still run sweet for you, but you need to get som measurements for us.

Yeah that's a stage 3 turbine wheel! Nice!
i find this turbo disproportionate: a 600+ HP turbine side with a 280 hp compressor side. that's lots of capacity that you cannot really use and it will penalize you big time on the spool up!
The compressor side is a T04B and the wheel looks even smaller than a S trim. It might be a t3 60 trim wheel, We see a lot of t04b housings with a t3 60 trim wheel in them on ebay lately. They come from john deere and case tractor engines. the backplate is a special one made to accept a t3 wheel rather than t04b.
if you want to keep the turbine, then put a t04b H trim or t04e 60 trim or even 60-1 compressor side on it!
if you want to keep the small t04b compressor (perfect for a stock LS) then swith to STAGE 1 turbine wheel and A/R of .63 (even .48 a/r works awesome under 8 psi on a LS.)
