Help Id my Holes
Damn that subject sounds gay ???
Need Help to ID the oil and water inlets on my turbo. It's an Rhb5 from a Mazda. I have 2 pictures showing which one are they. They should be circle and with what I think They are for, but I want to know which is in and which is out. First: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...6.jpg.orig.jpg The one holes in the middle looks like you would screw some type of fitting like the one on the other side and this picture: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...8.jpg.orig.jpg I hope these links work. Thanks in advance. |
Re:Help Id my Holes
links are bad

Re:Help Id my Holes
The water holes are normally the same size and take a banjo bolt. the oil feed is small and the oil drain is normally an open hole with no threads.

Re:Help Id my Holes
Nice red turbo ;)
ya, looks like you got them labled right. |
Re:Help Id my Holes
Yea, red, I bought it like that, I just hope it all falls off with the heat, Does it matter which ones are the inlets and which are outlets? Or will it just flow anywhere I plug them into?

Re:Help Id my Holes
Coolant lines doesnt matter which is which (for flow direction)
Oil does though, the smaller fitting, (normally threaded) will be the feed, and the return, will normally have some type of flange with 2 bolts. Jeff |
