I think that would work out perfect.

If you look in the first pic you can see that it actually burnt the shroud a bit. The radiator came loose a few times due to my missing radiator support. :o

have you thought about putting the exhaust side pointing towards the drivers side? Anyway, buy a 5 bolt flange from someone that blocks off the WG and get some tight mendrel bends...it should work.

BTW that O2 housing sucks....i had to get a .42/.48 one to keep my internal gate.

I can't point the turbine housing towards the drivers side because the compress housing hit the fan shrowd too.

Okay, today was productive, here's what I came up with:

I went to Parts for Trucks today and bought some mandrel bent pipes. They had exactly what I was trying to describe. 3 pipes came to $55 canadian (~$39us).

The pipes:

1 45 degree joined to the 90 degree, to check for clearence between the turbo and rad fan.. looks good, lots of room!:

I'm gonna have to cut the pipes and shorten them a bit, and add the 3rd 45 degree pipe to get the end to line up with the cat. converter and add a 2.5" flex pipe. Here are the pipes lined up to approximatly where they have to be cut and welded:

Here's a picture of my friend's turbo gsr civic, he hasn't had any problems with his downpipe melting the rad fan shrowd, so I guess I won't have a problem either, since I have more space between my downpipe and the shrowd than his setup:

I think this downpipe will work out great. :)
What do you guys think?

you do know that your oil return is at the top of the turbo don't ya?

Apart from that it all looks sweet.

Yes, I know, in my first post, I said "I know the turbine and compressor housings need to be rotated." ;)

So to keep a/c the compressor has to be facing the drivers side?
