Re: HELP. I HAVE A GREDDY KIT WITH A T3 Internal Wastgate
i think The greddy turbo used in this kit has a T3 flange.
if it's the case, Yes, you can put any t3 and t3/t4 turbo on this manif. I think downpipe flange will have to be changed no mather what. If your greddy turbo lags, it has a problem. greddy are known to use turbos that are way too small. LOL: on their cheesy H22 turbo kit, you get 40 WHP power gains. Some good torque improvement down low and basically nothing after vtec kicks in. Greddy sucks. |
Re: HELP. I HAVE A GREDDY KIT WITH A T3 Internal Wastgate
it should be a 15g or someting no t3

I vote boost leak or internal gate not closed all the way.

Re: HELP. I HAVE A GREDDY KIT WITH A T3 Internal Wastgate
You do understand, when we say 'leaks', we don't mean 'fist your mom' sized leaks, we mean pin-hole sized leaks and leaks between head/manifold and manifold/turbo. *ANY* exhaust leak between the head and turbine will kill spool time. When you're running low psi, just about any leak in the charge piping will kill spool time too.
Have you pressurized the charge pipes before? They should hold 20psi w/o ANY movement in the gauge. At most, 1psi of leaking after 2 mins due to shitty seals on your pressure-checker/gauge threads. |
