Ok I am trying to figure out what size AN fitting I have on my oil drain line. I bought the kit and the oil drain line is about 3/4 inch. The fittings are also 3/4 inch. I am trying to figure out which size AN fitting I need to put in the oil pan to just screw this fitting on it. I was thinking 10AN because it seems kinda big.

its actually pretty easy 16a/n is 1" 14a/n is 7/8 12 is 3/4 10 is 5/8 8 is 1/2 (are you noticing a patern here?) 1/4 4an etc...

The easiest way to determine what AN fitting size is in Standard units is to just add a 16 after it and reduce. so, -3 is 3/16" -4 = 4/16 = 2/8 = 1/4 etc.

The -10 I.D. is closer to 9/16, but I just call it 1/2.
