It has to be leaking. Look very carefully. Maybe spray something around the bov and connections to see if the idle changes. Did the idle change at all?

Re:help! civic vacuum?

should i try to put some silicon between the gasket and the flange to see if it helps? or would it not make a difference in vacuum?

Re:help! civic vacuum?

Maybe, it has to be leaking somewhere around the bov I'm sure. I'm not familiar with that bov so I'm not real sure what to do. Make sure it is tight for starters.

Re:help! civic vacuum?

Huh? There are several vac lines. Which one did you use? I'm guessing the one that goes to the fuel pressure regulator?

Re:help! civic vacuum?

yea! is there a more effective one to use for just the bov? at the speed shop out here they said that the fpr line is the only one to use?

Re:help! civic vacuum?

They are all basicaly the same. Some are just a bit bigger than others. I don't think there is a wrong or a right one. I was just asking which one to make sure you actualy had a vac line. :P
