I recently purchased a used, but in good condition garretT2-gt28rs ball bearin turbo for My fully built 93 civc sohc. I had the turbo installed and tuned in houston by a buddy of mine. Car did fine on the dyno and made good horsepower. Drove it to victoria, my home town, from houston with no problems. I even ran a corvette on the way home.I got into town when I saw a buddy with his semi bulit gsx and decided to ---- with him. It ran hard and I pulled by 4 cars on ''15lbs''. On the second run I lost boost in second gear. I looked and saw that one of the intercooler couplings blew off. I put the coupling back on and still no boost. All I hear is a metal ringing noise from the turbo.the turbo still spins when i rev it up. No smoke or shaft play. Checked all lines,my wastegate,and bov and still do not know why there is no boost coming from the turbo.Does anyone know what could be the problem? and how whould i know if i over spun the turbo??

BTW did you check your vtak fluid manny?

well i found out that my turbo did bust a nut. O well time to get a new one.
