Help with 1G DSM BOV!

I need to manufacture my own flange for this bov. i needed to know if the small 1/8" hole next to the release valve needed to be fitted in the same opening as the valve? What exaclty is this little 1/8" hole for anyway?

I forget what it's for, but you don't want to make a separate hole for it. See how the recessed area includes the main opening and that small one? It's fine. Just get a flange with 2 holes on the sides for the bolts, and one hole in the middle for the main opening.

yes it needs to be in the same opening as the valve. This is usually done by omitting the gasket material between that small port and the valve area, you dont actually have to machine a place for it in the flange, just dont block it off with the gasket.
