HELP~! my fellow D series BRETHREN!!

Would some blue tops and a 14B with a greddy mani be good enough to support 350WHP on my UNSLEEVED D16?? (eagle rods and some vitara pistons with a blockguard)..

also whats the most DAILY boost/HP someone "we know" is making on a bone stock D16??

anybody please.

I'm gonna take a guest and say no.If you search around you'll find that 350hp on a stock sleeve d16 is not common.Infact I don't think I've ever heard of anyone making that much hp on a stock sleeve D,especially with such a small turbo like the 14B.

I think the most is 302. Your gonna need a BIG turbo. I think probably a T3/T4, but I would say your motor is toast just after 300 hp on good tuning. At least post it or something.

I don't think that turbo will support 350...

no way it will. also, you say 'not sleeved', but what about other internals? aftermarket forged or completely stock bottom end? you may be able to pull it off on a completely stock bottom end for one pass, but will prolly blow it up in the process. but yeah, much bigger turbo needed.

lol kevin, did u even read the post? :P

14b runs outta steam around 215whp. you'll need atleast a t3 to get there.

if u ask me, 350 daily driven car on a d-series is going to be stretching it.

I dont even think 450cc's will support 350hp. you'll need larger injectors. Also, engine management is going to be a BIG concern.. turbo edit you will need. or some other form of "standalone" system. AFC or FMU is outta the question.

if those are the parts you have, use them. 350 seems like a lot for a daily driven D without a serious built engine. If you want reliability and that much hp, you're going to have to spend some more money. It won't be cheap at all. It'd be pretty hard to go homemade style with that much hp.

Re:HELP~! my fellow D series BRETHREN!!

D-series sleeves can take the boost...it's just that it moves...you'll have to do something for it not to move and causes blown gaskets or cracked sleeves.
The sleeves or ductile iron from the factory.
You will need bigger injectors for 350hp....I would get forged pistons...and a build head...a Y8 or Z6.Oh and a bigger turbo...T3/T4E 50 trim would be good.

Re:HELP~! my fellow D series BRETHREN!!

350 whp is very reachable in a daily driven d16, just not with what you have. but sleeves, srp pistons, and eagle rods, 550cc injectors, t3/t4 50-60 trim will get you there on about 20psi

Re:HELP~! my fellow D series BRETHREN!!

With a build head you'll get there with about 15-16 psi.
