Default Hella Blowby? WTF?

I finished my turbo project for the 2nd time a couple weeks ago. The first time I cheaped out on the feed lines and they blew off. So I fixed the lines and put a needle valve in place this time. I go to take the car around the block and everything is good for a few minutes of driving, so I mash the gas and BOOM, no boost whatsoever... I'm thinking whatever, a charge pipe leak or something. Then the car starts smoking like crazy and I pull over. There is oil EVERYWHERE, I mean all over the engine bay and just gushing out, but it's not coming from the turbo or the line connections, and the head gasket isn't blown. I think the is a line of oil comming from the valve cover and maybe the oil pan gasket but I have no idea what's going on...

The oil was all over the radiator, and behind the engine also, just friggin everywhere.

I've since removed the whole system and it runs n/a with NO smoke and a slight oil leak from the tuner toy fitting that I have yet to tighten. if anyone knows wtf could be up I'd appreciate the knowledge.

the breather thing on the valve cover is completely open btw.

Sounds like your pressurizing the crankcase somehow. Make sure you didn't have any line running to the valve cover. Maybe oil was coming out your open breather.

should I disconnect the pcv valve also? I mean if it's bad wouldn't that cause oil to shoot out the pan seal? I'm at a total loss as to where the oil is comming from, the entire enginebay is soaked, mainly the radiator.

yeah, I don't see any oil coming from there, it'e pointing towards the intake manifold away from the radiator which is where most of the oil seems to be splashing against.

This has happened to me when I broke pistons, the blowby was pressurizing the crankcase and oil was everywhere. But I hope that's not your problem

hehe yeah me too... I've only boosted twice on the car and it's done it both times but my compression is good on all cylinders. I'm beginning to think the rusted out pcv valve has something to do with it? I really wish I could sell this whole setup and find a vtec head to work on, but boost keeps calling me....

I'm also beginning to suspect the turbo seals themselves even though I had a need valve in place, I found oil in the compressor housing and I can't blow through the oil passages, seems like there's a clog or something in there.
