Default Headwork for 300HP D??

I'm rebuilding my d16y8 engine this winter to put into my 97EX. I plan on using Tuner Toys rods and Vitara pistons for the block. My main question was if there was any work that would have to be done to the head to reach this number. Also will the stock sleeves hold up at this hp level? I know I'll have to retire my T3 42/48 and upgrade to a larger turbo. Maybe a T3/T4 combo. Any input would be great.

The sleeves will be fine.
Leave the head stock, valve job if needed.
T3/T4 or Holset HY35 / HX35.

T-bird turbo is pushing it for 300whp. It's possible, but that's close to the limit of the snail. T3/T04b will do just fine at those levels.

The head is bare right now. It's been decked and I'm ready to install valve seals. I guess there is no way to tell if i need a valve job.

All old heads can use them plus extra flow doesnt hurt

Check just to seat if you have a good seal. With valves temp. installed fill combustion chamber with kerosene and see if it holds.
