the a1 has the composite type gasket.
it's hit and miss with those.
most people at redpepper recommend the oem and not felpro.
if you want metal, check cometic for the mls version.
if you want to spend $$ and can find them, there is the hks.

Just leave the oem one in there, it'll be fine. Most people here keep the oem and have higher milage d series. :1

if you want it not to work, then yes.
z6/a6 will not work with the A1/ZC

on my last motor i used ACL Race series (composite gaskets)

they out lasted the motor, i cracked heads, spun bearings and broke the tensioners, got soo hot that the manifolds were glowing red and u could see thru em and!!!! the pistons melted along with the valves cracking...

i mean OEM are usually good so long as your not detonating or pre igniting (pinging) headgaskets are the weak point and the first to break long before engine damage... sooooo yeah use the stockers and if they blow change em, i bet alot of people on here dont even bother

hi again and thanks for all

I read oem HG is good for 15 psi and about 250 hp boosted engine (IIRC).
Its not a problem, Im boosting just 8 psi...

but I would like to upgrade and common options as you told me are cometic and hks, both metalic.

I found this info about hks
HKS Bead Metal Head Gasket ACURA Integra 1986-1989 ; Engine Code: D16A1 / ZC Thickness(mm): 0.7 Bore(mm): 76
żż Compression Ratio: 9.9 ??

then I will need new bolts. honda are very expensive so I will buy ARP head bolts or studs.
what do you think about studs, not sure they work fine...

best regards, hundred thanks
